Fans approaching the national stadium for the hosts' quarter-final clash against Iceland were temporarily stopped at around 5.30pm local time due to a suspicious vehicle
French security forces have carried out a controlled explosion on a suspicious car outside the Stade de France.
Euro 2016 hosts France will take on Iceland at the national stadium in the tournament's fourth quarter-final tie on Sunday evening.
According to the Daily Mirror, French police used a small charge to open the door of the car and insist there is "nothing to worry about".
"If we find a suspicious package, it's our job to call bomb disposal," secretary of state for sports Thierry Braillard said.
