FAYOSE BOUGHT N1.35B WORTH HOUSES UNDER SIX MONTHS IN OFFICE – EFCC


Detectives have uncovered how Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose, bought N1.3billion properties within six months in office(October 16,2014 – April 2015). The five properties include four duplexes in Lagos and one in Abuja.
The EFCC has summoned three people for quizzing today in respect of the ongoing investigation of the Governor.
One of those invited Oyin Daramola, who is an estate agent is said to have told the EFCC that she did a legitimate business.
Besides Daramola two others are to provide evidence of their business fidelity.
The EFCC found out that the governor has since the purchase of the house in April 2015, has refused to pay money to the estate management agent but has decided to settle them by awarding contracts in Ekiti State to them to settle them.
